About Me

Creating health to increase lifespan.

“An ounce of PREVENTION is worth a pound in CURE.”

- Benjamin Franklin

Are you ready to shift your mindset towards a healthier lifestyle, improve your athletic performance and extend your lifespan?

My name is Yo, and I am a degree-qualified clinical nutritionist with a special interest in supporting clients with weight loss goals, medically diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes, high cholesterol, insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome and gut health.

Additionally, I am passionate about supporting endurance athletes, working together with their coaches to uncover any underlying health issues that may be hindering their athletic performance and optimising their training adaptations.

Whole food nutrition, lifestyle strategies and whole food supplements are my focus in the treatment protocols. The use of nutraceutical supplements is an adjunct addition based on a case-by-case situation.

Currently, I am completing a master’s degree to deepen my knowledge of human nutrition. I am passionate about supporting all my clients in the pursuit of a life of longevity. This is a journey I have wholeheartedly embraced with every step - heart and soul.

I am also a certified Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis practitioner. This is a unique, quality-controlled laboratory test to uncover heavy metal toxicities and measure nutrient status within the tissues of the body.

I believe that the power of nutrition and lifestyle choices lies in the actions we take every day. This is the key to supporting a life of quality, longevity, and superior athletic performance.

I created Synrgy with the aim to help you thrive in life - beyond 100 years.

A well-known 2016 observation study carried out by Dan Buettner and Sam Skemp written in the American Journal of Lifestyle Medicine, showed designated areas around the world where people living over the age of 100 were ten times greater than the rates in the United States. Dubbed the Blue Zones, each of these countries had a common theme in their way of living – a whole food diet, meal portion control, constant movement, a close social and supportive network, a purpose in life, a way to relax and loving family support. These lifestyle factors were major contributors to their longevity and quality of life.

Let’s take the first step together and explore the possibilities and opportunities of increasing your lifespan.

“Only 20% of longevity is genetic.

The rest is up to you.”
